Human Resources Manager – UK | Hybrid Working

Key Responsibilities

As the HR Manager, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, compliance, and right-to-work checks
  • Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
  • Oversee HR compliance across recruitment, healthcare, and education sectors
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence cases
  • Support performance reviews, probation management, and employee development planning
  • Coordinate training, CPD, and workforce development initiatives
  • Provide HR guidance and strategic support to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement and HR best practice as the organisation grows

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
    (Master’s in Business or related field desirable)
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum 5 years’ HR experience (ideally within recruitment, healthcare, education, or regulated sectors)
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations
  • Proven experience handling disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence cases
  • Confident, organised, and people-focused leadership style
