Marketing Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a confident, hands-on Marketing Specialist to join a growing multidisciplinary firm operating across health and social care, finance, and commercial lending. This is a broad role with genuine ownership of the marketing and communications function suited to someone organised, commercially aware, and eager to make an impact across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the company’s marketing and communications strategy across all sectors.
  • Plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms including LinkedIn,
  • Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Produce written and visual content for campaigns, email marketing, and company communications.
  • Act as the company-side point of contact for external specialists managing website development, SEO, and PPC.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure messaging is aligned across all channels.
  • Use AI tools to support content creation, scheduling, and campaign planning.
  • Stay up to date with developments in AI, digital marketing, and marketing technology bringing relevant tools and approaches into the business.
  • Track and report on marketing performance, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Support internal communications as needed.

Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Proven track record of running social media accounts and creating content independently.
  • Experience building or contributing to a marketing or content strategy.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools used in marketing (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and a genuine interest in how AI is evolving the marketing landscape.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Good general understanding of digital marketing disciplines including SEO, PPC, and web sufficient to brief, coordinate, and hold external specialists to account.
  • Up to date with emerging trends in marketing technology and AI – curious, proactive, and willing to bring new thinking to the team.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with a level of autonomy.
  • Collaborative- able to work effectively with external agencies, developers, and internal stakeholders.
  • An interest in or exposure to regulated sectors such as care or financial services is beneficial but not essential.
