About the Role

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Rural Generalist / GP Anaesthetist to join a supportive hospital team, in the heart of the Northern Territory's. This position covers anaesthetics for approximately 1–3 days per week, with the remainder of your time in the Emergency Department, community General Practice, or both with rostering flexible enough to suit your personal preferences and prior experience.

Key benifits include:

1. 50% Medicare billings if working in ED or community GP
2. Total remuneration package of $280,000 –$450,000, including shift penalties and on-call allowances
3. Contract terms flexible from 3, 6, or 12 months up to 5 years, with part-time and FIFO arrangements negotiable
4. 6+ weeks annual leave, plus study/professional development leave and superannuation
5. Relocation support, with free accommodation for the first 3 months and heavily subsidised accommodation after
6. Professional development allowance and access to the Rural Procedural Grants Program and Workforce Incentive Program

Eligibility:

1. Specialist Registration, or recognised specialist qualification in Family Medicine/General Practice (MRCGP + CCT, MICGP + CSCST, or FRNZCGP)
2. VR (Vocationally Registered) GPs currently based in Australia also eligible
3. Australian General Registration holders currently practising in Australia also eligible
4. CAP/Expedited Pathway preferred
5. Candidates from the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand preferred
