We are currently recruiting an experienced Nursing Home Manager / Registered Manager to lead and

Key Requirements

• NMC registered
• CQC registered as a Registered Manager
• Minimum 5 years’ nursing home experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior management capacity within a relevant care or healthcare setting
• RMA or equivalent qualification
• Care of the Elderly qualification desirable but not essential
• Proven leadership and change management experience
• Experience working with CQC, Local Authorities and social care
• Strong knowledge of care quality, governance and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, organisational and people-management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the nursing home
• Provide strong leadership across care and support teams
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
• Oversee audits, quality assurance, governance, incidents and complaints
• Monitor staffing levels, recruitment, retention and staff development
• Manage budgets, occupancy and operational performance
• Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality and person-centred care
• Work closely with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, CQC and other external stakeholders
• Lead quality improvement and change management initiatives
• Promote a positive, open and inclusive management culture
