Staff Nurse (RGN) - South Dublin

Top Tier Talentees is recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursing home group with eight homes across Ireland. They're looking for a Staff Nurse to join their 69-bed home in South Dublin on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time Staff Nurse post in a well-run nursing home with a supportive team. You'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older adults. Because the group has eight homes, the role offers a clear route to progress, with structured steps from Staff Nurse to Senior Staff Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM), and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care to residents, respecting their dignity, choices and wellbeing
• Assess, plan, carry out and review individual care plans in line with residents' changing needs
• Give out and manage medications safely and in line with regulatory and home policies
• Keep accurate, up-to-date clinical records and care documentation
• Work closely with healthcare assistants, the wider nursing team, GPs and allied health professionals
• Communicate warmly and clearly with residents and their families
• Help maintain high standards of care, safety and quality across the home

Person Specification

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Registered nurses are preferred. EU/EEA, Swiss or UK-qualified nurses who are eligible to apply for NMBI registration are also welcome, and we'll guide you through the process. Registration must be in place before your start date.
• The right to work in Ireland without sponsorship: EU/EEA, Swiss or UK citizenship, or a Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G permission. Work permit sponsorship isn't available for this role.
• Experience in adult care, such as geriatric or gerontology nursing, long-term care, nursing home care or general adult nursing
• A genuine person-centred approach to resident care
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative way of working within a team
