About the role

This is role is for a qualified Physiotherapists looking to build a long-term career in Germany. Placements span a range of clinical settings, with full guidance provided at every stage, from professional recognition through to visa approval and settling in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver physiotherapy assessment and treatment across your placement setting, in line with German clinical standards
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, adapting to the specific patient population of your placement (outpatient, acute, rehabilitation, elderly care, or sports/orthopaedic)
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records in line with local regulatory requirements
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including further training opportunities such as Manual Therapy and Lymph Drainage
  • Support patient rehabilitation goals while working towards full German licensure recognition

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Recent clinical physiotherapy experience is preferred
  • German language proficiency at B1 or B2 level
  • Willingness to complete vaccinations as required under German healthcare regulations
  • Genuine commitment to relocating and building a long-term career in Germany

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary during the recognition period: approximately €2,700–€3,000
  • Salary after receiving the German licence: approximately €3,000–€3,500
  • With German experience and further training: up to €4,000
  • 25–30 days of annual holiday, plus 5 additional days for training purposes
  • Further training such as Manual Therapy and Lymph Drainage largely funded by the employer
  • Assistance with finding accommodation, city registration, and opening a bank account
  • Possible employer loan for first month's rent and deposit, repayable in small instalments from salary
